Sonny Schambeau was born in Bayou La Batre Alabama. Coming from a musical family with Country and Bluegrass roots, Sonny started playing the guitar at the age of 10. At 17, he began traveling across the country, ministering in song and Word with an evangelistic team from his home church in Miami Florida. The name of the group was the “Miami Apostolics” and before long they recorded an album names “Things Are Going To Get Better Afterwhile”.
In August of 1977, Sonny met the love of his life Ann Campbell in Oklahoma and after a very short courtship they married and moved to Houston Texas where they began a family with a son and a daughter.
Over the next three decades, Sonny and Ann would embark on an adventure of ministry ranging from the music ministry, evangelistic travels at home and abroad to having pastored three different churches across the country.
Currently Sonny and Ann Schambeau reside in Dallas Texas, as does their daughter Lacy, son Josh, and their families.
